Paper 19: Pilot study using artificial intelligence in the translation of PROMIS® sexual function and satisfaction measures


Caroline Terwee, PhD, is full professor of Outcome Measurement in Healthcare at the Department of Epidemiology and Data Science of Amsterdam UMC, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and the Amsterdam Public Health research institute. She conducts methodological and applied research on the selection and standardization of relevant outcomes and valid and reliable measurement instruments for research and healthcare. She is one of the founders of the COnsensus-based Standards for the selection of health Measurement INstruments (COSMIN) initiative, an international group that develops consensus-based methodology and practical tools to select outcome measures for research and clinical practice. Dr. Terwee is also a member of the Core Outcome Measures in Effectiveness Trials (COMET) initiative Management Group and the International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM) Central Expert Panel. Dr. Terwee is an Editor-in-Chief for Advances in Patient-Reported Outcomes, the official journal of the PROMIS Health Organization (PHO). She is a past president of the PHO, serves as chair of the PHO International Committee, and is head of the Dutch-Flemish PROMIS National Center.
