Dr Alcantara is the Research Director of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, the largest professional organization in chiropractic worldwide. Dr Alcantara received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic and his PhD from Southern Cross University in Queensland, Australia. He has published research on the validation of the PROMIS instruments notably the PROMIS-29 and the PROMIS-25 -within chiropractic practice, evaluating patient and provider outcomes.
